RAILROADERS BEAT SALTDOGS FOR SERIES SWEEP

Cleburne 11, Lincoln 2 – Box Score Cleburne finished off the three-game sweep of Lincoln as they rolled past the Saltdogs by the score of 11-2. The Railroaders pounded out 16 hits in the contest with seven batters picking-up multi-hit games. Cleburne 1B Grant Buck the led way at the plate going 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI. Railroaders 3B Chase Simpson launched a home run in a 2-for-5 night while C/DH Hunter Clanin, LF Nick Rotola and RF K.C. Huth each contributed two runs, two hits and two RBIs. Cleburne starting pitcher Stephen Johnson tossed six solid innings of baseball and notched the victory. The righty gave up an earned run on four hits with two walks and seven strikeouts.
