Gary SouthShore 2, Fargo-Moorhead 1 (11 Innings) – Box Gary SouthShore C Wilfredo Gimenez scored the game winning run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the 11th inning as the RailCats defeated Fargo-Moorhead in a walk-off, 2-1. The RedHawks carried a 1-0 lead into the ninth only to see Gary SouthShore score the tying run on a CF Chase Harris fielder’s choice and send the game into extra innings. RailCats 2B John Holland went 3-for-4 on the night with a run scored while LF Reggie Wilson and DH Alex Crosby each had a pair of hits. Gary SouthShore pitcher Ryan Fritze tossed a scoreless 11th inning with two strikeouts to collect the victory. For Fargo-Moorhead in the losing effort, 1B Mitch Delfino went 3-for-5. Lincoln 4, Sioux Falls 1 – Box Lincoln RF Trever Adams hit a two-run home run and starting pitcher Seth Webster tossed seven solid innings in leading the Saltdogs to a 4-1 win over Sioux Falls. Adams had a tremendous at the plate for Lincoln going 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored and three RBI.
