Gary 5, Fargo-Moorhead 1 – Box The Railcats took the series finale on Sunday to win two out of three games against the Redhawks. The Railcats scored early, putting a run on the board with a RBI groundout in the second inning. In the fifth they added four more runs, giving LHP Braulio Torres-Perez plenty of run support, as the Redhawks could only muster one run over nine innings. The big play of the fifth was a two-run double from LF Anthony Cheky Jr. The double put Gary up 4-0, as they went on to score one more run in the inning. Torres-Perez (4-0) spun a gem, going seven scoreless innings, allowing just three hits and striking out six batters. Wichita 3, Cleburne 1 – Box Neither team scored in the first four innings of the game, but the fifth inning was a different story, with both clubs exchanging runs. In the sixth, the Wingnuts added two more runs, courtesy of a RBI putout followed by a solo home run from 1B Matt Chavez.
