Gary SouthShore 7, Cleburne 6 (14 innings – resumption of suspended game from 7/19)- Box A walk-off single by 2B John Holland gave the RailCats a one-run win in a 14-inning contest suspended on Wednesday night. Holland drove in DH Frank Martinez, who had walked to lead off the bottom of the 14th inning. SS Ryan Fitzgerald hit a two-run homer in the first for the RailCats, part of a three-run opening frame to set the early tone. Tyler Sullivan, Reggie Wilson and Andy DeJesus had three hits each for Gary SouthShore in the win. LHP Carlos Diaz tossed three scoreless innings in relief for the win. Cleburne RF Derrick Pyles had three hits and four RBI in the loss, falling a home run shy of the cycle.
