Gary Southshore 4, Winnipeg 2 – Box The Goldeyes took command of the game early, taking a 2-0 lead in the third inning. The big play of the inning came on a RBI double from RF David Rohm. The Railcats cut the deficit in half in the bottom of the inning. In the fourth, CF Chase Harris smashed a double to tie the game at 2 and then was knocked in when DH Cameron Newell hit a two-run double. The Railcats kept that 4-2 lead as they went on to win 4-2. Newell finished the game 1-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. LHP Braulio Torres-Perez got the victory, going five innings allowing two runs on seven hits and striking out six batters. RHP Jorge De Leon pitched a scoreless ninth to earn his fifth save of the year. St Paul 4, Fargo-Moorhead 2 – Box The Saints won their 30th game of the year on Saturday night, breaking open a 2-2 game in the fifth inning with two runs. CF Kes Carter blasted the Saints ahead with a two-run double. The RBIs were his seventh and eighth of the year. Carter also walked twice in the win. 1B…
