The RailCats scored two runs in the seventh inning to take the lead for good and added an insurance run in the eighth. Gary SouthShore leadoff hitter Colin Willis and 1B Alex Crosby each had 3-for-4 nights at plate and combined to drive in three runs. RailCats starting pitcher Charle Rosario tossed seven strong innings in winning his second straight decision. Rosario gave up two earned runs on five hits with a pair of walks and five strikeouts. The righty is now 9-3 on the season.
