GARY, Ind. (July 13, 2019) – With Charlie Gillies away from the team and Michael Gunn battling an injury, the Cleburne Railroaders needed a starter for the middle game of their series against the Gary SouthShore RailCats. They found their man in right-handed pitcher Bryan Saucedo, signing the 6’6, 230-pounder on Saturday. To clear space on the roster, the Railroaders returned right-handed pitcher Sandy Lugo to the RailCats. Lugo was injured when acquired by Cleburne on July 8, and never appeared in a game for the club. Saucedo has traveled a winding road throughout his baseball career. A native of Toronto, Ontario, Saucedo played on the Canadian Junior National Team before being selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 29th Round of the MLB Draft in 2012.
