Fargo-Moorhead 4, Sioux City 1 – Box Fargo-Moorhead starting pitcher Mike O’Neal tossed eight sensational innings in leading the RedHawks to a 4-1 win over Sioux City. O’Neal allowed only one unearned run on five hits with no walks and six strikeouts in a 100-pitch effort. The southpaw won his second consecutive start and is now 2-1 on the season. Offensively for Fargo-Moorhead, DH Ryan Pineda showed the way going 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and a RBI. RedHawks SS Yhoxian Medina added a pair of hits with a run scored with leadoff hitter Brett Wiley collecting a RBI single and a run. With the victory, Fargo-Moorhead is now a league best 11-3 on the season. Cleburne 2, St. Paul 1 – Box Right fielder Mitch Glasser singled home 2B Maikol Gonzalez in the fifth inning to give Cleburne a 2-0 lead and that would be all they needed in a 2-1 win over St. Paul. Glasser drove in both runs for the Railroaders in a 1-for-3 night while Gonzalez plated both runs, going 0-for-2. DH Geraldo Valentin also chipped in a three-hit game for Cleburne.
