Sioux Falls 4, Cleburne 2 – Box The Canaries took down the Railroaders on Saturday, thanks to a big three-run first inning that provided all the scoring they would need. DH Jabari Henry opened the game for the Canaries with a lead-off homer, and then LF Ty Morrison hit a two-run single to extend the lead to 3-0. Cleburne scored a run each in the third and fourth innings, but those two runs were the only ones they could muster on the day, as the Canaries won 4-2. RHP Miles Nordgren was solid in the victory, pitching six innings, allowing two runs on eight hits, and striking out none. Morrison had the big day for the Canaries, as he finished 2-4 with a run scored and three RBIs. RHP Jose Ortega earned the save, pitching a scoreless ninth, allowing a hit and striking out a batter. 1B Geraldo Valentin picked up an RBI in the loss, as he finished 1-4. Lincoln 10, Salina 5 – Box The Saltdogs scored seven runs in the first three innings en route to a 10-5 victory over the Stockade on Saturday.
