Gary SouthShore 6, Milwaukee 5 (10 Innings) – Box Score Shortstop Marcus Mooney launched a solo home run in the top of the 10th inning to give Gary SouthShore the lead for good as they edged past Milwaukee, 6-5. The RailCats had a 4-3 lead after four innings of play only to see the Milkmen score single runs in the fifth and seventh innings to grab a 5-4 advantage. Milwaukee could not finish the game off as they allowed Gary SouthShore to plate the tying run in the ninth inning with two outs and send the game into extra innings. Gary SouthShore CF Evan Marzilli led the way at the plate going 3-for-6 with two runs scored and an RBI.
