Washington hit two home runs, bringing in five runners to lead the Milkmen. OF Adam Brett Walker II added a double and a home run, bringing in two more RBI. OF Brett Vertigan and IF Logan Trowbridge added an RBI. On the mound, pitcher David Holmberg threw six innings, giving up two runs, one earned, on six hits. IF Raul Navarro recorded the lone RBI for the Goldeyes in game one off a double. Pitcher Joey Gonzalez pitched four innings, allowing eight runs.
