Milkmen Strike Gold in Tennessee Defeating Winnipeg. By, Hannah McIlreeJackson, TN.- The Milkmen kicked off their week long road trip against the Winnipeg Goldeyes. Taking on the mound for the Goldeyes was Eduard Reyes. Third baseman Logan Trowbridge was the first to make it on base after drawing a walk, Adam Brett Walker the II showed his MVP status hitting a double over Goldeye center-fielder Kevin Lachance, putting Trowbridge in scoring position. However the Milkmen were unable to pick up any runs after a fielder’s choice from David Washington, and a ground out from Christian Correa. Right hander Nate Pawelczyk took to the mound for his first start of the season, pitching an 1, 2, 3 out inning which included a strike out and two infield plays. Pawelczyk has closed two games for the Milkmen entering today’s game with a 0.00 ERA. After a scoreless two innings Milwaukee took an aggressive approach to their offense. Trowbridge…
