Milkmen Fall 14-4 to Slugging RedHawksby Jonathan MichelFranklin, WI. — The Milwaukee Milkmen couldn’t overcome a 7-run second inning in their series opener against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks and fell 14-4 at Newman Outdoor Stadium. The Milkmen put 2 runners on in each of the first 2 innings but could not get runs across in either inning. After loading the bases in the bottom of the second, Fargo-Moorhead’s Dylan Kelly and Sam Dexter each picked up RBI singles against David Holmberg, making it 3-0 Fargo with one out. The RedHawks decided to take it up a notch, knocking three straight doubles by way of Will Zimmerman, Manny Boscan, and Leobaldo Pina. The extra base hits gave Fargo a 7-0 lead after 2 innings.
