Fargo-Moorhead 4, Cleburne 3 (11 Innings) — Box Score LF Brennan Metzger scored the game-tying run in the eighth inning for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks and in the top of the 11th, his RBI triple gave his team a 4-3 win against the Cleburne Railroaders. In the 11th, 2B Maikol Gonzalez singled with one out and after CF Devan Ahart flew out, Metzger pounded the first pitch he saw and made his way to third base while Gonzalez scored the eventual game-winning run. Reliever Randy McCurry came on to pitch in the bottom of the inning and sat the Railroaders down in order to seal the win and pick up the save in the process. Starting pitcher Trey McNutt worked seven innings without a decision but did record 12 strikeouts while allowing three runs on just three hits. For the Railroaders, 1B Rafael Palmeiro went 2-for-4 and hit his first home run in the American Association.
