Laredo 10, Winnipeg 9 — Box Score The Laredo Lemurs held off a late surge from the Winnipeg Goldeyes to win a 10-9 shootout at Uni-Trade Stadium. The Goldeyes scored five runs in the seventh and eighth innings to cut a 5-run Laredo lead down to just one run but Reliever Jose Nivar struck out DH Jacob Rogers to end the top of the eighth with the tying run standing on third base. In the ninth, Reliever Jeff Inman came on and finished things off. PH Casio Grider did record a single in the ninth and made it to third after stealing second and an error by the catcher but 3B Wes Darvill popped out to Inman to end the game. For the Lemurs, all nine batters recorded at least one hit in the game and three of them had multi-hit games. 2B Alvaro Rondon led the way with a 3-for-4 night with two RBI with 3B Travis Denker and D Alex Nunez each added a pair of hits.
