Kansas City 10, St Paul 5 – Box There was not much time to relax, as both teams scored multiple runs in the first inning. The T-Bones took a 3-0 lead in the top of the inning on a three-run homer from DH Kevin Keyes. The Saints answered with a solo shot from RF Danny Oh as well as a RBI single from 2B Tony Thomas. With the score 4-2 in the fifth inning, the T-Bones added three more insurance runs including a solo homer from 2B Zach Walters. The Saints scored three more runs, but the T-Bones clamped down and won the game 10-5. Keyes finished the game with two homers and Walters was 1-5 with a homer and two runs scored. RHP Gabe Perez picked up the victory, pitching 5.1 innings, allowing three runs on eight hits, and striking out eight for his first win of the season.
