Wichita 2, Fargo-Moorhead 1 – Box The Wingnuts walked-off in style on Sunday, scoring a RBI single in the bottom of the ninth off the bat of CF Harrison Kain to win their 19th game of the season. Kain, who finished the game 3-5, raised his average to .340 on the year. Neither team scored until the eighth inning, due to strong starting pitching as both starting pitchers lasted seven innings, combining for 11 strikeouts between the two. RHP Jordan Cooper did not earn a decision, but his seven scoreless innings kept the Wingnuts around long enough to win the game. RHP Seth Harvey picked up the win for the Wingnuts, pitching a scoreless ninth inning and striking out a batter in his first win of the season. St Paul 7, Winnipeg 6 – Box The Saints topped the Goldeyes on Sunday in the rubber match of their series, to pick up their 19th win of the season. Both teams had big first innings as the Saints scored three in the top of the inning after three straight batters had RBI hits. The big play of the inning was a RBI double from LF Anthony Gallas.
