June 21 Evening Recap Kansas City 2, Fargo-Moorhead 1 – Box Kansas City LF Joe Jackson launched a two-run home run in the fourth inning to give the T-Bones the lead for good as they defeated the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks by the score of 2-1. Jackson had a pair of hits on the night with two RBI while DH Kevin Keyes had a 1-for-4 game and plated a run. Kansas City starting pitcher Matt Sergey threw five innings in his first outing of the season and nabbed the victory. Sergey gave up an earned run on three hits with two walks and seven strikeouts. The bullpen was solid for the T-Bones tonight as Gabe Perez, Grant Sides and Cody Winiarski tossed four innings of scoreless relief and fanned a combined four batters. Winiarski earned his sixth save. Wichita 11, Salina 4 (Game 1 – 7 Innings) – Box In the first game of a doubleheader, the Wichita Wingnuts scored nine runs over the fifth and sixth innings to blow open the contest and defeat the Salina Stockade, 11-4.
