Winnipeg 8, Cleburne 7 – Box Score The Winnipeg Goldeyes (4-1) rallied from an early four-run deficit and held off a late surge to top the Cleburne Railroaders 8-7. The Railroaders (3-2) moved out in front with a pair of runs in the bottom of the first thanks to a two-run home run from 3B Chase Simpson (2-for-4, 4 RBI). Cleburne added two more when SS Jared Reaves and RF Hunter Clanin both scored after a single from C Logan Trowbridge (2-for-4). But the Goldeyes came roaring back in the fifth as DH James Harris (2-for-4) blasted a three-run home run and back-to-back run scoring singles from LF Josh Romanski (2-for-5) and RF Willy Garcia put Winnipeg in front.
