CLEBURNE, Tex. (June 16, 2021) – The Winnipeg Goldeyes clinched a series win with a 10-4 victory over the Cleburne Railroaders on Wednesday night at The Depot at Cleburne Station. The Goldeyes (10-14) scored in five of the final six innings, including three in the sixth and four in the ninth. Max Murphy led the way with five hits, all singles, scoring three runs.Cleburne (11-15) dropped a fifth consecutive game, managing nine hits on the night against Winnipeg starter Eduard Reyes (3-2) and three relievers. The Railroaders scratched out a run in the bottom of the sixth on an RBI single from Ramon Hernandez, then plated three in the bottom of the ninth on a two-run single from Colton Pogue and a run-scoring hit from Tyler Ryan for the final margin.Reyes and Cleburne starter Austin Fairchild (1-3) traded zeroes through the first three innings before Winnipeg pushed across single runs…
