Sioux City 11, Gary SouthShore 10 – Box Sioux City 1B John Nogowski launched a three-run home run to cap off a five-run rally in the bottom of the ninth inning and give the Explorers a dramatic 11-10 walk-off victory over Gary SouthShore. The RailCats had a 10-6 lead in the ninth with two outs before two errors led to five runs including Nogowski’s blast to give the Sioux City the win. John finished 3-for-5 on the night with a pair of home runs and five RBI. Explorers SS Nate Samson went 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI while leadoff hitter Tony Campana collected two hits and plated a pair of runs. Sioux City reliever PJ Francescon threw a scoreless ninth and struck out two to notch the victory. Wichita 15, Fargo-Moorhead 2 – Box It was all Wichita in this one as the Wingnuts rolled out to a 6-0 lead after three innings and cruised to a 15-2 win over Fargo-Moorhead. Wichita hammered out 18 hits in the contest with seven batters having multi-hit games.
