Fargo-Moorhead 6, St Paul 5 – Box After falling behind 5-2 after five innings, the Redhawks scored four runs in the seventh and eighth innings on the way to a narrow 6-5 win over the Saints on Friday night. Three players hit home runs in the one-run win, including 3B Josh Mazzola. Mazzola collected on a solo shot for his tenth home run of the season. 2B Brandon Tierney also hit a home run in the win, as he collected on a two-run blast to tie the game in the seventh. The Saints hit two long balls in the loss, including a solo shot from SS J.J. Gould. It was Gould’s first home run of the year. RHP Trey McNutt picked up the win in relief, as he pitched two scoreless innings and struck out four batters for his first win of the season. RHP Casey Weathers picked up two strikeouts to earn his 14th save of the year.
