Sioux City 8, Milwaukee 3 – Box Score The Sioux City Explorers (8-4) rallied for five runs in the top of the ninth inning to top the Milwaukee Milkmen 8-3 on Monday afternoon at Franklin Field. The Explorers built an early lead as 1B Jared Walker (3-for-5) hit a two-run home run in the top of the first inning and LF Joseph Monge (3-for-3) added a solo shot in the second. But the Milkmen battled back to tie the game at 3-3 thanks to solo homers from 1B David Washington and C Christian Correa (2-for-3) in the fourth and fifth, and an RBI double from Washington in the sixth. In the top of the ninth, the Explorers loaded up the bases and 2B L.T. Tolbert singled home the first run of the rally.
