Sioux City 8, Winnipeg 7 (11 Innings) – Box Sioux City scored five runs in the top of the 11th inning to grab an 8-3 advantage and would have to holdoff a tremendous rally by Winnipeg in the bottom of the frame to win by an 8-7 final. The Goldeyes tied the contest up at 2-2 in the fourth inning and that score would hold up through nine innings and force extras. The Explorers tallied a run in the top of the 10th to take a 3-2 lead only to see Winnipeg tie it back up with a run of their own in the bottom of the inning. Sioux City had 15 hits in the contest and was led by DH Tyler Ogle who went 3-for-6 with a run scored and two RBI. Explorers pitcher PJ Francescon gave up five earned runs in two innings of relief but still ended up winning his fourth victory of the year. For Winnipeg, C/PH Mason Katz went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI.
