Wichita 11, Kansas City 5 – Box Led by an 11-run fourth inning that saw Wichita bring 15 batters to the plate, the Wingnuts cruised to an 11-5 victory over Kansas City. Wichita collected 10 hits as a team and was led by DH Zac Fisher who went 4-for-5 with a run scored and three RBI. Wingnuts RF Richard Prigatano had a 2-for-5 night with a pair of runs scored and two RBI while 3B T.J. Mittelstaedt chipped in two runs and a RBI in a 1-for-2 game. Wichita starting pitcher Tim Brown received plenty of run support and notched his third victory of the season. Brown went seven innings allowing four earned runs on nine hits while striking out five batters. St. Paul 10, Winnipeg 7 – Box The St. Paul Saints scored three runs in the third inning to take the lead for good at 4-3 and would go on from there to beat Winnipeg by a 10-7 final. St. Paul banged out 12 hits in the contest with five batters having multi-hit games.
