GENEVA, Illinois – Forrestt Allday went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs in his first start since May 22, Walter Borkovich allowed just one run over seven innings, and the ‘Dogs beat Kane County 8-3 at Northwestern Medicine Field on Thursday night. BOX SCORE Allday doubled in the 1st inning and added an RBI single in Lincoln’s five-run 3rd inning. Starting as the designated hitter, Allday also hit a two-run homer – his first of the year – in the 9th. Borkovich delivered Lincoln’s longest start of the year, allowing just one run on four hits with one walk and six strikeouts in seven innings.
