LINCOLN, Nebraska – David Vidal hit a two-run double, but the shorthanded Saltdogs lost 7-3 to the Winnipeg Goldeyes at Haymarket Park on Friday night. BOX SCORE Vidal’s two-out, two-run double got Lincoln (33-32) with two runs in the 8th inning, but Winnipeg (32-33) held on after adding two more in the 9th and won for the fourth time in five games between the two this year. Winnipeg opened the scoring with a two-run run homer from Max Murphy in the 1st, and an RBI single from Austin Rei followed by a two-run double from Kevin Lachance made it 5-0 in the 2nd. Lincoln got a run back on Josh Altmann’s RBI single the 6th – his first game since July 18th – before Vidal’s two-run double in the 8th.
