LINCOLN, Nebraska – Justin Byrd was hit by a pitch for a franchise-record three times, but the Lincoln Saltdogs were shut out for a second consecutive time in a 5-0 loss to the Sioux Falls Canaries at Haymarket Park on Friday night. BOX SCORE Byrd was hit in the 3rd, 5th and 7th innings to extend his on-base streak to a season-high 34 games, but Lincoln (45-39) lost consecutive games for the first time since July 12th and 13th against Winnipeg. John Richy allowed five runs on 11 hits over six innings, while Jake Hohensee, David Zoz and Carter Hope combined for three shutout innings in relief.
