JUNE 12 AFTERNOON RECAPS Gary SouthShore 4, Sioux City 3 (11 innings)- Box 1B Alex Crosby led off the bottom of the 11th inning with a walkoff home run, pushing the RailCats to a 4-3 win over the Explorers on Sunday at the U.S. Steel Yard. The blast was Crosby’s first of the season and first hit of the day. Gary SouthShore had previously scored on an RBI single by CF Tillman Pugh in the fourth inning, as well as back-to-back RBI singles from RF Masato Fukae and DH Brennan Metzger in the fifth. Both Fukae and Metzger finished their day with two hits. LHP Andy Roberts threw 3.1 scoreless innings of relief, earning him the win, his second of 2016. SS Nate Samson had a big day for Sioux City, going 4-for-5 with a double. Winnipeg 4, Fargo-Moorhead 2- Box The Goldeyes entered the top of the ninth trailing 2-1, but by the conclusion of the inning, Winnipeg found themselves up 4-2, a score that would hold in a road win over the RedHawks. 1B Jacob Rogers tied the game with an RBI double, and CF Reggie Abercrombie gave the Goldeyes the lead with an RBI double of his own…
