Sioux Fall 17, Chicago 14 (12 Innings) — Box Score The Sioux Falls Canaries (8-3) outlasted the Chicago Dogs 17-14 in a five-plus hour extra innings affair Thursday night. It was a double from 2B Ryan Long that cleared the bases in the top of the 12th inning that provided the eventual game-winning runs for the Canaries. 3B Damek Tomscha drew a walk, C Clint Coulter doubled and LF Mike Hart (3-for-5) was intentionally walked to load up the bases in the top of the 12th and after RF Logan Landon was retired, Long delivered his second hit of the night to put the Canaries in front. The Dogs brought the tying run to the plate in the bottom of the 12th but 3B Joey Terdoslavich flew out harmlessly to right field to end the game. 1B K.C.
