Sioux Falls 6, Winnipeg 5 (10 Innings) — Box Score The Sioux Falls Canaries survived a late surge from the Winnipeg Goldeyes and scored in the top of the 10th to take a 6-5 extra-inning win. The Canaries built a 5-1 lead after the top of the fourth inning – three of those runs coming on a double from RF Chris Grayson in the third — but the Goldeyes never went away. Winnipeg eventually tied the game in the bottom of the eighth inning when it loaded up the bases and SS Andrew Sohn (2-for-4) was hit by a pitch. After a scoreless ninth, the Canaries’ first two batters in the 10th were retired as well before DH Jabari Henry doubled. Grayson was intentionally walked and then 1B Chris Jacobs (2-for-4) singled to right to allow Henry to score the game winning run. In the bottom of the inning, Sohn made it as far as third base before a 9-2-5-3 putout ended the threat.
