Sioux Falls 4, Gary SouthShore 3 (10 Innings) – Box Sioux Falls 1B Aaron Gretz doubled home LF Burt Reynolds with the game winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Canaries defeated Gary SouthShore in a walk-off, 4-3. The RailCats jumped out in front 2-0 in the first inning thanks to a RBI single by RF Colin Willis and a run scoring double by 1B Alex Crosby. Sioux Falls cut the deficit to 2-1 in the second on a RBI groundout by CF Dan Motl. The Canaries added a single run in the fifth to tie the contest at 2-2 before each team scored a run in the seventh to make it 3-3. The score would stay that way until the 10th when Gretz brought Reynolds home with the deciding run and giving Sioux Falls the win. Canaries pitcher Josh Ferrell tossed a scoreless inning of relief to notch his second win of the year. Ferrell gave up a walk and a hit in the five batters faced.
