St. Paul 7, Fargo-Moorhead 6 – Box Score The St. Paul Saints put together a massive five-run rally in the ninth inning to claim a 7-6 win against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. The Saints were trailing 6-2 heading into the top of the ninth inning but flipped the game on its head. CF Jake Smith (2-for-3) scored the first run of the rally when LF Burt Reynolds drew a bases-loaded walk and then RF Maxx Murphy (2-for-3) scored in the next at-bat when 1B Dan Johnson also earned a base on balls. In the next at-bat, 3B Dante Bichette Jr. singled home both 1B/2B Noah Perio Jr. and Reynolds. 2B Luke Petterson scored the final run of the surge when SS Anthony Phillips lifted a sac fly. For the RedHawks, both CF Devan Ahart went 2-for-5 with two RBIs and SS Yhoxian Medina went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Sioux City 4, Winnipeg 0 – Box Score The Sioux City Explorers blanked the Winnipeg Goldeyes 4-0 thanks to the efforts of starting pitcher Justin Vernia.
