Houston 5, Lincoln 4 – Box Score The Houston Apollos (4-16) edged past the Lincoln Saltdogs 5-4 to level their three-game set 1-1. Both teams plated three runs in the second inning as the Apollos saw a three-run home run from SS Yeiler Peguero and, in the home half, CF Patrick Adams, LF Justin Byrd and DH Forrestt Allday (3-for-5) pitched in RBIs for the Dogs to tie the score. In the fourth, CF Breland Almadova (2-for-4) singled home 3B Ian Yetsko to give the Apollos the lead and in the sixth, RF Daniel Aldrich (3-for-4) hit a lead-off home run. 2B David Vidal drew a bases-loaded walk for the Saltdogs in the seventh to draw within a run but that proved to be the final run of the game.
