AMERICAN ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES 2019 SCHEDULE, DIVISION ALIGNMENT

MOORHEAD, Minn. — The American Association has announced the 2019 regular season schedule on Wednesday. Each team will play a 100-game slate, with 50 home games and 50 road games. Opening Day for the league is set for Thursday, May 16 with four games on the slate. CLICK HERE FOR 2019 AMERICAN ASSOCIATION SCHEDULE The American Association will be split into the North Division and South Division in 2019. The North Division includes the Chicago Dogs, Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, Gary SouthShore RailCats, Milwaukee Milkmen, St. Paul Saints and Winnipeg Goldeyes. The South Division is comprised of the Cleburne Railroaders, Kansas City T-Bones, Lincoln Saltdogs, Sioux City Explorers, Sioux Falls Canaries and Texas AirHogs. The 2019 season will mark the debut of the Milkmen, based in Franklin, Wisc. Milwaukee will open Routine Field on Friday, May 24 against Chicago. The top two teams in each division will advance to the American Association playoffs. The best-of-5 semifinals begin Wednesday, September 4. Spring Training for all American Association clubs begins Saturday, May 4.
