MOORHEAD, MN – The American Association has selected Milwaukee Milkmen OF Adam Brett Walker III and Gary SouthShore RailCats LHP Trevor Lubking as the Pointstreak Batter and Pitcher of the Week, for the period ending June 27. Walker batted .400 (12-for-30) with six home runs, 12 RBIs, eight runs scored and two stolen bases. His week included a three home run, seven RBI performance against the Kansas City Monarchs on June 24 in Milwaukee’s wild comeback victory. Walker, the reigning American Association Player of the Year, helped the North Division-leading Milkmen to a 5-2 record. This season, Walker is leading the American Association with 15 home runs and is tied for the league lead with 42 RBIs.
