James Paxton is a projected Top 10 draft pick in the upcoming 2010 baseball draft. Like some previous picks, who did not want to sign with the team which initially drafted them, James has followed the path of using the independent minor leagues as a place to play before getting drafted again. Sometimes this strategy works and sometimes it does not.
