We have updated the list of independent professional baseball teams and leagues for the 2017 season. The updates are on the “Teams” page which can be accessed through the navigation bar or through this link:
Updates from 2016 to 2017 include changes in:
- American Association (no Amarillo/Grand Prairie combination — now just the Texas AirHogs, added Cleburne, removed Joplin, removed Laredo and added Salina Stockade mention of travel/road team)
- Pecos League (removed Salina, Topeka and Great Bend plus added the California teams of California City, Bakersfield, High Desert, Monterrey, and Hollywood)
- USPBL (added Westside Wooly Mammoths)
- Empire Pro (removed Sullivan and Watertown and added Plattsburgh and Puerto Rico)
- Added Thoroughbred League information
Atlantic League, Frontier League, Can-Am League and Pacific Association remain the same for 2017.
