The damage to Bethpage Stadium, home of the Long Island Ducks (Atlantic League), was rather extensive according to an article which came out earlier this week from New York. Damage to the stadium’s roof and other areas of the stadium happened during the Sandy storm in late October.
The article opens up some interesting aspects of the team’s finances, including how much the team pays to Suffolk County each year and some of the terms of the bond issuance. In addition, the article mentions the use of funds set aside for general maintenance and how they are being used for the emergency repairs.
