In the past 3 days, two independent professional baseball leagues – modified for the 2020 season due to COVID-19, have concluded their seasons; and two league champions have been added to the list of historical independent professional baseball league championships on this page:
Those teams are the Somerset Patriots of the two-team Somerset Professional Baseball Series and the Tucson Saguaros of the Pecos League.
The Patriots closed out their season with a 1-0 victory over the New Jersey Blasters on August 22. Here is the recap and box score:

The Tucson Saguaros defeated the Salina Stockade today by a final score of 7-2, played at Coastal Baseball Park in South Houston, Texas. The Saguaros won the first and second game of a three-game series to determine the Pecos League champion for the 2020 season. Here are the game recap and the box score:
