A recent Ballpark Digest article said that the Portland Beavers affiliated Minor League team is supposed to end up in Tucson, Arizona which is the current home of the Golden League’s Tucson Toros.
Even more interesting is a recent article out of Arizona which hints that the Toros owner would “take a hiatus” should the Padres move the team to Tucson for at least one year:
