The Tucson Toros played in the Golden League through 2010, but did not field a team during the 2011 NAL season. The team kept its status as dormant in case it wanted to return in 2012, but the city locked them out of their stadium. A recent injunction in Tucson was decided in favor of the team, so it can go back into the stadium again to resume operations:
Even though the Toros are on the North American League’s website as a 2012 team, it has not been officially confirmed that the Toros (or any other team currently on the proposed 2012 list at http://northamericanleague.com/view/northamericanleague/teams/2012-north-american-league-teams) is going to be a part of the NAL. With the recent uncertainty facing the Chico Outlaws and Calgary Vipers teams, along with the Lake County Fielders, anything is possible.
Once the NAL situation gets resolved, the official statements from the league and/or teams will be posted on this site.
