The new Trois-Rivieres Aigles (Can-Am League) team announced that Pete Laforest will be the team’s first field manager. He was involved with the Quebec Capitales as a player and hitting coach from the Capitales’ four consecutive championships in-a-row stint from 2009 to 2012.

Attractive and eye catching logos! Hope they sell t-shirts I can collect. However an wrong choice in colors, when considering that the Jersey Jackals already use red and black, and that red is also a major part of the Rockland Boulders motif. I think they should object to this. Why TR did not go with a standard green as most Eagles teams do makes no sense. That would be distinctive in the CanAm at present.
GREAT choice for manager…home grown excellence, and a good spot for his first managerial experience…IF Les Capitales play nice with him.
