The American Association will replace the Flyers in Schaumberg (IL) at Alexian Field:
The new team will start play in 2012, presumably to replace the intended Montgomery County (TX) team which is slated for 2012. A new 2012 team in Laredo is scheduled to begin play in the American Association; and this would raise the 2012 AA teams list to 16 teams.
The Schaumberg team will be led by the owner Alan Oremus.
How this will affect the Flyers organization, the Chicago area North American League teams, and the NAL in general are still TBA. Once information is confirmed then it will be added on this site.
