Some recent news came out of Abilene, where the Prairie Dogs were shut down early to end the season, regarding paychecks:

One of the articles states that the league paid for the stadium in Fort Worth and this makes for criticism regarding player paychecks or staff paychecks not being sent on time. For clarification purposes, the entity (LLC) which purchased the stadium in Fort Worth is a different entity than the one running the United League teams which played in the North American League this season. How much “crossover” exists lies in the LLC documents, but it is likely that the investors in the stadium-purchasing LLC entity do not have liability when it comes to player paychecks in Abilene.
