Longtime owner of west coast independent baseball teams, Robert Young, is now the owner of the Vallejo Admirals in the Pacific Association. This is both confirmed by a local news article and Young’s name now on the Admirals website. Tito and Alma Fuentes will remain as co-General Managers for the Admirals.
Of interest is that Young owned the two Hawaii teams which will not play this year. He was quoted last month as saying that there may be a new 2015 league for Hawaii and Pacific Rim country teams. How his involvement with the Admirals will affect a new 2015 league, or if he simply will have interest in teams in 2 leagues (should the proposed Hawaii league happen), is still to be determined.

Is the Pacific Assoc only on Facebook now? I don’t seem to get any internet web site for it…which I prefer. Will be hard to follow it.
What’s with the managerial merry go round in the Pecos? I thought Moore was going to manage one of the new Arizona franchises. Give me a program!
