Last night the Ogden Raptors won the 2023 Pioneer League championship, defeating the Billings Mustangs by a final score of 7-5. The Raptors swept the Mustangs in the best-of-three championship series.
This is the Raptors first Pioneer League championship since the league became an independent professional league. The Raptors are now added to the list of historical independent baseball league champions going back to 1993:
