The Loudoun Hounds, a team originally scheduled to play in the Atlantic League this season, formally announced that they will have a stadium in which to play in 2014. As with most of these situations, much more was involved when it comes to the real estate aspects of the deal as it includes plans for office space, a hotel, an amphitheater, walking trails, dining, shopping, and other amenities. Bob Farren, president of the Hounds, was quoted in this article:
The Hounds would be the 9th team in the Atlantic League for 2014, should they play in the league as originally intended.
