A recent article came out on the Loudon Hounds, an expansion team scheduled to play in the Atlantic League in 2012, adding former Washington Senators player Frank Howard as a team ambassador:

Of greater interest is the last piece of the article that the intended new stadium has not yet even begun to have construction started. This means that news about the Hounds will come out soon regarding their status in the Atlantic League for the 2012 season.
Currently, the Atlantic League has 7 teams and a travel team (the Road Warriors). Next year, the Sugar Land (TX) Skeeters are scheduled to play in the league to replace the Road Warriors. Should the Hounds come in and play on the road for a good portion of the season then that might necessitate the Road Warriors to play again for 2012, but this is still TBA.
Once all of this is confirmed then it will be posted on this site.
