Here is the update on the professional independent baseball leagues playoffs for the 2012 regular season, as of the morning of Sept. 13:
American Association
- The Winnipeg Goldeyes lead the Wichita Wingnuts 2-0 in the 2012 American Association championship series. The Goldeyes can win the championship with a victory in any of the next three games, whereas the Wingnuts must win all 3 games to win the championship
Atlantic League
- The regular season is still going. It will end on Sept. 23, after which the playoffs start
Can-Am League
- The Quebec Capitales won the 2012 Can-Am League championship
Frontier League
- The Southern Illinois Miners lead the Florence Freedom 1-0 in the 2012 Frontier League championship series
North American League
- San Rafael Pacifics won the Northern Division championship of the NAL
- The Edinburg Roadrunners won the United League division championship of the NAL
Pecos League
- Alpine Cowboys won the 2012 Pecos League championship in August
